Upcoming Cooking Classes for April & May

RSS Feed

We’ve got some great cooking classes lined up for April and May:

Open to novices and experienced cooks alike, you’ll be able to work hands-on in our kitchen, learn new techniques, and get your questions answered.

Registration is only available on-line.  If you don’t have computer access or a credit card, you can stop by the store, and we can help you register.

All of the above classes are taught by Scott Sharot.  His career as a chef, caterer, restaurateur, consultant and food writer has spanned more than 30 years. He has also taught in NYC at the Learning Annex, Miami Dade Community College’s Environmental Center and here in New Mexico at Talin Market, La Montanita Co-Op and Jane Butel’s Cooking School.

I really do not like your classes page – I can not see what dates everything is on without drilling down drilling down drilling down, which makes me not want to take classes at your place – its way to0 much work to figure out what I have open coorindating with what you have open. Can you please make this more streamlined, say a calendar for each month with the activites on it? or list the dates next to the type of class? Also, today is 4/2/10 and this still has valentines days activities on here?

I’m going to have to agree with the previous comments about your cooking class info.
One shouldn’t have to click on every class(more often than not only to find the class has already taken place!)to find out when they’re scheduled.
It does put one off to the idea of taking the classes.

    Thanks for the suggestions.

    1) The dates used to be in the title, but some changes to the on-line system made them disappear. The class titles now have the dates in them again.

    2) We’re working with the programmers to get an actual calendar up, but it hasn’t been to our liking. Hopefully listing the class dates will suffice for now!
